Can’t paste passwords - 1Password unusable in iOS 11

So, I’m a longtime user and advocate for 1Password.

On my new iPhone X, I can’t paste passwords into the password field in apps. This appears to be an iOS feature/bug. The passwords I have stored in 1Password are complex, and short of writing! them down, then laboriously typing them into my apps, it seems to be impossible to use 1Password on my phone, other than as just a database of my passwords.

From what I can tell, this is a known issue dating back to the iOS 11 betas.

Is there a workaround? (Other than giving up and just using keychain?)

Thanks,
Andrew

@drewe2000: If you're right, then no there isn't a way around this. Some apps (and websites) simply do not allow pasting, and we cannot make them adopt the 1Password iOS extension. However, I had an interesting experience today trying to login to the Citi app: I couldn't paste! I'd never had trouble with it before though, so I was determined to figure out what the problem was. It turns out that because I was trying to paste the password before entering a username, the password field would not accept any input! So you really never know... :dizzy:
