which vault is the right one

I had to reinstall Sierra on my desktop. Now 1password shows to vaults (Primary, 1Password) . Neither one of these has everything included that was on the old desktop. My iPad appears to be the more accurate version, tho it doesn't show the category I created with all my email passwords in it. I don't think it ever did. Its vault is called Primary. I thought this was all syncing to Dropbox but don't know for sure as the file on dropbox has a 2014 date??? So I'm hoping I can eliminate the vaults on the desktop, and get the one on the iPad as the only one. How do I accomplish this?

1Password Version: 6.8.4
Extension Version: 4.6.11
OS Version: 10.12.6
Sync Type: dropbox

    Hi @wasted1,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble keeping things synced up.

If you're looking at the dates listed in Finder, don't worry too much about an older date. That date reflects the date that you originally created the vault.

We have a support guide at https://support.1password.com/dropbox-troubleshooting/ that should help you out with syncing via Dropbox. We do recommend switching to our new 1Password.com service, though, since it is a lot more reliable than syncing via third-party sync services such as iCloud or Dropbox. If you do decide to switch, we have a support guide that explains how to do just that. Please check it out at https://support.1password.com/migrate-1password-account/ and let me know if you have any other questions.
