Can't set "Ctrl+\" for Chrome Extension in Windows

Ctrl + Shift + X works fine for popping up entire extension but Chrome won't let me use the _Ctrl + \ _ for filling in known passwords. When I go to edit the Chrome ext shortcut the "\" isn't recognized. Any help would be grateful!

1Password Version: 6.8.492

@hrbrt: Thanks for getting in touch! Chrome extensions themselves cannot use a Ctrl or ⌘ \ shortcut, as that is restricted by the browser. So 1Password X, our self-contained Chrome extension, uses Ctrl/⌘ Shift X instead.

1Password X is a great option when you can't use our native apps and their extensions, but since you're running 1Password for Windows, you may want to use its extension instead:

That will work the way you're asking, since the native app handles the keyboard shortcuts. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)
