Forgotten Master Password

Hello!

I had sent an email off a couple days ago, but no response :(

I had recently created an account, but among resetting my master password, and writing down the new password, I was kicked out of the system, and have not been able to use my account since! I was wondering if you would be able to send a password reset or something to my email so I can get back to using my account!!

I’m sorry for the delayed reply.

It is not possible for us to reset your Master Password. Your Master Password is part of an encryption key, and so the only way to decrypt your data is with it. We do have some tips which may prove helpful available here, though:

If you forgot your Master Password or you can't unlock 1Password

P.S. Your Secret Key should never be shared with anyone, including us. It’s a secret! :) As such if you are able to remember your Master Password please change your Secret Key.
