Unable to set fingerprint unlock on Xiaomi Mi A1 stock Oreo 8.0

Hi.

I'm unable to set fingerprint unlock on a Xiaomii Mi A1 with stock Oreo 8.0 latest build (as today).
The error I get is
java.security.ProviderException: Keystore operation failed

I've tried to clear data of the application and starting from scratch, but I can't enable fingerprint.

Is there a solution?

    Hi @woody65. 1Password for Android relies on Google's official fingerprint framework for Fingerprint Unlock. Unfortunately it seems that Xaomi hasn't fully implemented the Android Key Store. This is necessary for the cryptography we use for Fingerprint Unlock.

    While we hope this changes in the future, at the moment I recommend using PIN unlock. My team will look into it and see if there's anything we can do, but ultimately devices will need to fully support the fingerprint framework for Fingerprint Unlock in 1Password.
