Secure Documents Standalone or Subscription only?

I just want to check if getting the OS X Standalone version of 1Password will allow me to have the Secure Documents section or if that's only for people with the subscription based model.

I just want to be able to have a photo of my passport in the app.

    @aetolia: With 1Password for Mac, you can save files in 1Password either way. With the standalone version, you'll be able to add small files into other items as attachments; with a 1Password.com account, you can add any files (up to the storage limit of your account) as Documents.
