The installation of V7 was a breeze: thank you. However:
1. I cannot find where to configure backups. In V4 it was easy with Preferences. Here, I cannot find it.

On a separate issue for Brenty & Greg. Converting to V7 has not resolved the log in problem I have been having. I still have manually to complete the process with certain sites of which this forum is one. to

    The Backup settings view hasn't been implemented. 1Password 7 Beta 1 is currently backing up each vault automatically next to the vault with .opvault.backup extension, daily for 90 days.

    This will be polished throughout the beta updates coming soon.

    Do you have a link to the issue, is it about auto-submit in this thread? 1Password 7 uses the same browser extensions as 1Password 4 but the process of pressing enter may be different.
