import doesn't work PC to Mac
I had a PC that had 1Password on it. I gave the PC away but backed up all the data on it including the 1Password file. I just downloaded 1Password for the Mac and tried to import the backup file I made. It does not work. Nor can I replace the keychain. How can I get the paswords into the new install?
The old version is version 2. The new one is the current build for the Mac

Welcome to the forum, @ldubia! I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having currently. Unfortunately, as you've discovered, PC files are not directly transferrable to your Mac. I'm not sure what you mean by "replace the keychain," but I'm wondering what kind of files you have available from your PC? Were you syncing your data with Dropbox at the time? Did you have your data on ANY other device(s)?
