Do you recommend a Diceware generated passphrase for the Master password? If so, 6 or 7 words?
As computer hack ware gets faster and more sophisticated, is a 6 word master passphrase still secure enough for my 1Password account? I purchased 1 Password for my Mac and IOS devices in 2012. I sync through Dropbox. I haven’t decided to use the your membership service with 2 factor authentication. I want to make sure my passphrase is in the meantime.

The short answer is the more the better. :) If 6-7 words is what you’re able to remember without difficulty then that should be adequite so long as you’re generating the passphrase instead of picking words yourself. Humans are much more predictable than we’d like to think, and so the entropy of 6-7 words you hand pick is going to be much less than 6-7 words picked for you by 1Password.
