What is a .crx extension, and why do I get it from https://1password.com/browsers/beta/firefox/
My 1Password plugin in Firefox (v4.1.7.3) isn't working today (click or right click on the 1Password icon does nothing) so I decided to download the latest version. I'm getting it from https://1password.com/browsers/beta/firefox/ and right-clicking on https://app-updates.agilebits.com/download/OPX4/Y?browser=firefox?alt=true
It is giving me 1Password-4.7.1.90.crx ; when I drag it to the Firefox add-on tab, Firefox 60.0 says it is corrupt.
I think I probably need 1Password-4.7.1.90.xpi ; if so, can you give me a direct link to that file please?

PS, restarting the browser fixed the 1Password plugin (v4.7.1.3) so I'm operational for now.

Thanks for updating us on the issue, I'm glad you're back up and running.
I've moved your thread from our Windows beta forum to our Saving and Filling in Browsers forum since you're not using 1Password 7 for Windows betas and this is related to the browser extensions.
You are correct, you need the XPI file. This is a bug on our site and we're notified the web team to fix it.
Just to answer your question, CRX is the file extension used by Google.

Thanks for relocating my post to the correct area. I wasn't sure if "getting the browser extension" went with the app or with "filling issues." Now I understand that anyway it shouldn't have been in the Windows v7 beta forum. And crx for "chrome extension" makes sense.
