How about definitive instructions for setting up 2 Macs

This has been a bit of a nightmare and lots of users are having the same issues. I've followed all of the instructions, installed and reinstalled, logged into my subscription, but my passwords are not syncing between computers. The MBP still has a sync option via iCloud in the preferences, and the iMac has none. I reinstalled and it automatically launched with the identical settings.

Super frustrating change to the subscription model with built-in sync (not) with one of my longest running Mac apps that previously just worked.

Sorry to b!tch, but I'm not the only one.

    @chipwarren if you are seeing the sync option via iCloud in preferences, that is because your standalone vault is still there. You need to delete that. In the top menu bar, click Vault>Switch to Vault>Primary and then Vault>Delete Vault to remove that extraneous vault and bring 1Password in line with your membership.

    On iOS devices, the process is open 1Password an tap Settings>Vaults>Primary>Delete Vault.
