No Rich Icons for Dropbox Synced Vaults?

I've seen the "known issue" that you can't edit or upload custom icons for external vaults, but it would seem rich icons aren't functional at all. Is this coming in an update soon? My vault is syncing fine, there are no firewall problems or anything. Icons just aren't downloading, and I've given it plenty of time and multiple restarts.
