Will Image Restore cause Problems?

Hi,

I'm considering buying the 1Password membership option but have one question. I use Macrium Reflect sometimes to restore my complete C: drive to an earlier time. Will that cause any problems with 1Password? E.g. is 1Password smart enough to just add any changes from the server or will it get confused? Also if I revert the 1Password folder (where ever it is) to a recent backup after reverting the C: drive to an earlier image does that work correctly too? Where is the folder where the 1Password data resides?

Thanks,
Mike

    Hi @MikeA01730,

    Thanks for writing in.

No, it won't cause any issues and yes, you can restore to an earlier copy of 1Password directory. 1Password.com service will inform 1Password apps to match what it has as 1Password.com is the center truth or if there are issues, it'll block and inform you what you need to do such as updating the client first.

You can find the 1Password directory here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\1Password. The data folder contain your 1Password database.

    MikeT,

Thanks for the information. One less thing to worry about.
