iOS 1password doesn't work on id.apple.com

In iOS (on both my iPhone 6s and iPad Pro 9.7 inch) Safari, 1Password is unable to input my password at id.apple.com. When I use the browser extension after entering my Apple ID, nothing happens. If I go into the item, copy the password, and paste it in the input field, it works fine.

I have up-to-date iOS and 1Password, but have had this issue for a long time, probably years (so across many versions of 1Password and iOS).

    Hi @Alex Hill

    We're aware of this issue with sites that use an iframe element to display their login form fields. Many parts of Apple's site (including the Apple ID login page) do this. Unfortunately on iOS there is currently too big of a risk with filling into iframes, but there are some improvements coming in iOS 12 that may help alleviate this difficulty and enable us to fill on such sites.

    I'm sorry I don't have a more immediate solution.
