I see lots of old requests for a merge records feature. Was that ever implemented?

I'm trying to consolidate my "duplicate password" entries, and sometimes they have different fields associated with them.

I don't see a way to merge records, but I see several feature requests for this. Was it implemented and I'm missing it?

    Hi @sloot,

    Thanks for writing in.

No, there is no item merge support, we don't plan to implement this.

However, you may be referring to redundant Login + Password items cleanup feature that we haven't implemented yet for 1Password on Windows. On macOS, when you generate a new password with the password generator and then update an existing Login item, 1Password will remove the generated password item as long as it matches both the URL and password fields of an existing Login item. However, if the said password item has more fields than just website/password fields, we will not remove it to avoid data loss.

This will be implemented in a future update but we don't have a timeframe on this.
