    The location information comes from your IP address’s geolocation infomation, which is supplied by your internet service provider. If you’re using a VPN, proxy server, or if your ISP is doing something a bit odd (like NAT for large regions of customers) this may not be accurate. In most cases it should be fairly accurate — mine is accurate to within about 10 miles, but results may vary. I’m sorry to hear that in your case it is not very accurate.

    Unfortunately it can’t. We don’t have any control over how your IP address is assigned or registered.
