1Password link in PDF

Hi
Previously when I shared a pdf document with a 1Password link it would open the 1Password app on my Mac and offer to save the entry to my vault, this has stopped working in Mac OS 10.13 and 10.14, please can you tell me how I can re-enable or a workaround. Thanks

    @InfiniteProjects: I'm not sure what you're referring to. Can you please clarify, and include the OS and 1Password version numbers involved? You left those details out of your post.
