1password will not open on Windows 10

Options

I installed 1password on my machine and can't get it to work. It dies as soon as it starts. I used the event viewer to get the following errors that seem to occur every time I attempt to run 1password.

There is also a .Net error that does not fit in the text field

Hope you can find something. Using it on my iPad and iPhone with no problems.

Thanks

Lance

  • Hey, @lgwennap! Thanks for the errors you've included, but alas, it's that .NET error that I need to know what's going on. If you can fit it in a separate post here, great. If not, e-mail it to us at support+windows@1password.com and include a link to this forum post in the body of your e-mail. You should get an auto-reply with a support ID included. If you drop that Support ID here, I can use it to hunt down your e-mail and make sure I take a peek quickly. :+1: Thanks!

    I have the same issue:
Faulting application name: 1Password.exe, version: 7.2.581.0, time stamp: 0x5bb034fc

Seems to be related to the Re-Released version of Windows 10 build 1809

  • @belliott: I'm not aware of anything specific to 1809, but do send over a crash report:

Like I mentioned to others here, make sure to include the .NET error if there's one around the same time and also include a link to this forum post in the body of your e-mail. You should get an auto-reply with a support ID included. If you drop that Support ID here, I can use it to hunt down your e-mail and make sure I take a peek quickly. :+1: Thanks!
