Welcome to the forum, @bzemeski! If you're still using OS X 10.11 (“El Capitan"), that means you'll be limited to 1Password 6 for Mac. If you haven't installed that yet, you can get a copy at our downloads page (scroll down to the "Using an older computer?" section). Once it's installed (or if you already had it installed), you'll need to install the 1Password extension in Opera. That's also available from the downloads page, in the extensions section. Hope that helps! :)

I have been using 1PW for years and yes I am using ver. 6 and it is installed. I am not understanding exactly what is to be downloaded for the extension to be installed? The extension section has 1) Download 1Password for your browser; 2) Or, download 1Password X 3) Using an older computer? (which is ver. 6). I do not see any extension to download. The extension icon is in my browser but when click on it wants me to sign in asking my for my secret key, etc. which I don't have. This is ver. 7. I need it to work with ver. 6

The link Lars provided should take you directly to the relevant spot on the downloads page, but it is just above 1Password X:

It sounds like you currently have the 1Password X extension installed, which you should remove.
