Sharing some passwords with iOS devices
Can I use iCloud sync to share only some of my passwords on 1Password for the Mac with my iOS device? I'm not ready to store my most important passwords in the cloud yet, but it might be nice to make some passwords more portable. I presume that the vault system may be a way that this can be done?
Related question: in its password instructions, Agilebits writes, "Master passwords for 1Password on iOS do not need to be as strong as master passwords on the desktops."? Why would they not need to be as strong?
Thanks.

Hey @ot7doc,
You should be able to accomplish this using multiple vaults. Each vault you create has separate sync settings, so you can choose to cloud sync only a certain vault while leaving another vault local only. Here are the instructions for syncing with iCloud.
I personally feel safe storing my encrypted 1Password keychain in the cloud, though completely understand if you're not. But if you're interested, you can read all about the security of the Cloud Keychain used by 1Password 4 here: Security in 1Password 4
And to answer your related question, basically that advice is no longer recommend. 1Password 4 uses one master password across all devices. There's a much more detailed answer for the same question here: Why do master passwords for old version 3 for iOS not need to be as strong as those on the desktop?
Hope that helps! :)
