App keychain data doesn't match browser extensions

I recently bought a new MacBook running OS 10.9.1 and used the migration assistant to bring 1Password Version 3.8.21 (build 32009) to the new machine. I had to manually transfer the licence from the old machine to the new one but once I'd done that everything seemed to work fine.

However, since then I have made changes to some of my keychain data and whilst the app seems to have updated fine these changes aren't being used by any of the browser extensions. So for instance I changed an email address on one account and the app has saved that change, but every time I use an extension to log in it still uses the old email address and fails to log in.

Everything - app, browser, OS etc - are up to date.

    Hi @GeorgeSandison,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulty with the browser extensions right now. Let's try reinstalling these extensions and see if that kickstarts a proper connection to the app.

    To reinstall the Safari extension:

    • Open Safari.
    • Click Safari > Preferences in the menu bar.
    • Click the Extensions tab.
    • Click "Uninstall" for the 1Password extension.
    • Restart Safari and visit the following page: https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html
    • Click the download button next to the Safari icon, and follow the instructions on the new page to install the extension.

    To reinstall the Chrome extension:

    • Open Chrome.
    • Type chrome://extensions in the address bar and hit return.
    • Click the trash can next to the 1Password extension and remove it.
    • Restart Chrome and visit the following page: https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html.
    • Click Download next to Chrome and confirm the installation.

    To reinstall the Firefox extension:

    • Open Firefox.
    • Click on the Tools menu, then Add-Ons.
    • Click the remove button next to the 1Password extension and remove it.
    • You also need to remove the extension database. Follow these instructions: https://mikhailt.clarify-it.com/d/4zpylm
    • Restart Firefox and visit the following page: https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html
    • Click the download button next to the Firefox icon, and follow the instructions on the new page to install the extension.

Please let me know if you are still seeing issues after reinstalling and we'll take a closer look :)
