1Password freezes computer input in some scenarios

I've noticed that sometimes when 1Password is working, it will freeze mouse input until 1Password is finished. I've noticed this in both beta and non-beta:

  • when 1Password is downloading a package as part of the self-updater
  • when the Chrome extension is initialising

Has a) anyone else seen this behaviour, and b) know of a fix or workaround?

Windows 8.1 Pro (6.3 build 9600), currently running 1Password 1.0.9.340

    I believe one or two folks have mentioned this, @codran, but I've never been able to reproduce it on my test systems.

    Let's see if others are still seeing the problem.
