1PW for Firefox no longer opens new site in new tab

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

Using 1PW 3.8.21 and Firefox 28 on 3.06 Core Duo iMac running OS X 10.6.8
Firefox preferences set to open new window in new tab and opening new site through 1PW always opened it in new tab until recently. Now it opens it in new window. This does not happen when using 1PW in Safari on same machine where it continues to open new site in new tab. How can I correct Firefox problem.

    Hi @DeeRay,

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password right now. Please look at the extension and confirm that 'Open in new tab' and not new window (as the image below shows).

    You can change this setting by clicking on it. :)
