Hi,

does 1pasword regenerate masterkey and overviewkey after changing masterpassword ? I guess not, cause if I change masterpw 1password could simple reencrypt the masterkey with the new masterpw.

Is there a way to force 1password to reencrypt everything with new masterkey and itemskeys ?

1Password 4, as I understand it, does not generate a new encryption key if you simply change your master password. If you want to generate a new encryption key then basically you need to:

    1. Set up folder sync and ensure the sync is up to date.
    2. Erase all 1Password 4 data and start over (i.e., at the same time creating the new master password).
    3. Import the old data (from 1 above) into the new vault.

If you're going to do this be careful: read the knowledge base articles first and make sure you know what you're doing!
