Upgrade v4 to v5 after upgrade to Yosemite

After upgrading to Yosemite I accepted the invitation to upgrade 1Password to v5. Now, I have a trial version, my original registration with Agile Bits is not recognized, there are no 1PW icons in the menu bars of any of my browsers (Chrome, Opera, Safari, FireFox) even after installing extensions. Where do I start cleaning up this mess?

    I have now determined that 1Password is working. The menu bar icons are there, changing them from keys to keyholes was an effective way of hiding them. Wasn't able to log back on here without creating a new account.

    Hi @konnersman‌

    Please try this:

    • Open 1Password.
    • Click the 1Password menu, hold down the Control key, and select Quit 1Password and 1Password mini.
    • Restart the Mac.
    • Relaunch 1Password.
