How do I revert to 1Password 4

Hi,

after my Yosemite update, I've been lured into upgrading to 1Password 5 by the automatic "Wanna free upgrade?". Annoyingly, this did NOT specify that there is a severe limitation here, i.e. no icloud support for web-version. Anyhow, I now need to revert to 1Password 4 - what is the best way to do that?

Thanks,
Sebastian

    Hi Sebastian ( @sboeser‌ ),

I sincerely apologize for the trouble here. Unfortunately, downgrading to 1Password 4 will not get iCloud sync back for you. Apple made some big changes to iCloud for iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) - which is why our previous workaround that allowed 1Password 4 for Mac from the webstore to make use of iCloud sync is no longer possible. Yosemite uses a completely new iCloud, which means that even if you downgrade to 1Password 4, you will not be able to use iCloud sync in Yosemite.

I am so sorry that I don't have a better answer for you here. I'd be more than happy to help you move to Dropbox or Wi-Fi sync if you'd like!
