See horribly recorded video of behaviour (don't worry that's not my real PIN code):

Versions

  • Android 5.0 (Lollipop) on Nexus 5
  • 1Password for Android 4.1.4 Premium

Preconditions

  1. PIN code enabled for 1Password (not sure if this is required)
  2. PIN code enabled for phone unlock (not sure if this is required)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open up the 1Password app and unlock it via PIN
  2. Go to the home screen
  3. Open up another app if you want
  4. Lock the phone
  5. Unlock the phone

Expected behaviour

I should see my home screen or the previously launched app

Actual behaviour

1Password immediately loads into the foreground, displaying the PIN code entry view.

  • Thank you for this detailed report @JustinBull‌. We really appreciate it. I am able to confirm that we did reproduce this issue on our end and our dev team has started looking into a fix. Our plan is to provide the fix in an update, so keep an eye out for that! :)
