Safari Browser Extension Crashing Browser

Hello,
Using Safari 8.0.3. Found that after leaving my system unattended I would come back and the browser would be closed.

After some troubleshooting, clearing cache, etc.; I saw a suggestion to disable extensions. 1Pass is the only one I have installed.

Removed it and the problem has gone away. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
Keith

    Hi @klucas27,

I would be curious to know what version of 1Password for Mac and the browser extension you are running are.

I'd also be curious to know if it continued after this sequence of steps:

    1. Uninstall the browser extension completely.
    2. Reboot the Mac
    3. Re-install the browser extension from https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions

    Do keep us informed.

Fingers crossed obviously but we'll keep working with you if Safari still crashes after that.

Reinstalled and the browser crashed on idle.

    Hi @klucas27,

I'd like to ask you to create a Diagnostics Report from your Mac.

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+ forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once you've sent the Report a post here with the ticket ID will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
