What does the unassigned folder mean?

Most of my items in 1Password on my PC were transferred over using a wi-fi synch. I noticed that I have about 10 items of different types that are listed in the unassigned folder. What does that mean? It looks like those same items also show under the logins, wallet items, etc. Is the fact that they are unassigned important? If they need to be "assigned", how do I go about that?

    @dpenwell - Unassigned means those 1Password items are not assigned to a folder. We have a great user guide explaining how to work with folders here.
