I'm techno challenged. I blew the Master Password setup right out of the box. So there's no data in the vault. The instructions in the "how to start over" section of the support pages haven't been helpful. HELP
Do you want to start over with a new data vault or are you trying to recover your data from before? To restore to the previous data vault, try to restore from the backups. To do this, open the main 1Password application, go to the Backup menu > Restore 1Password Vault from Backup and select the backup that was created before this incident.
If you want to start over with a new data vault instead, open the main 1Password application, go directly to the File Menu > New 1Password Vault to create a new data vault and you can now create a new master password. That should be all for you to start over.
