Typing too fast while searching only recognizes first character, or skips characters

Hello all -

It seems that in a recent update to 1P for iOS, the search field has been less responsive than before. Now, when I type my search, the search bar will briefly fill correctly, but will then revert to only recognizing the first character.

For instance, if I type "Linkedin"
Search shows "Linkedin" for a fraction of a second
Then reverts of just "L" (or occasionally "Ldin" (skipping characters)

I'm on an iPhone 5, iOS 8.3, and everything is up to date.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?

    Yes.

    It's a bug of which AgileBits is aware.

    @LKlieger I remembered there'd been something fairly recent and was lucky enough to find it easily just by searching for "typing too fast"—which is hardly the sort of search term you'd normally think of using, so I don't blame you at all! :)
