IE 11, browser extension button not available

Options

I'm trying to enable the browser extension button in IE 11, and it doesn't appear to be available. I've enabled the add on, but when I go to add the button to the toolbar, it does not appear in the list of available buttons.

Any help would be appreciated. I've followed the steps to re-enable the add-on, and it is enabled.

Thanks

  • Hi @Steve Stefani,

That usually means one of 1Password add-ons is disabled by Internet Explorer. Here's how to fix this:

    1. Open Internet Explorer and on top right, click on the gear (Tools) icon to select Manage Add-ons
    2. Select Toolbar and extensions on the left and look for 1Password in the right, you should see two components. You can right-click on them to select Enable.

Thanks - that was it; i didn't realize the "Not Available" one needed to be enabled as well.
    Much appreciated.

  • You're welcome, I'm glad it is working now.
