I did a quick search and didn't see anything on this ... should the Win 10 Alpha work with the standard browser extensions? Mine still seem tied to my 1Password version 4 installation.

Do I need to uninstall that version in order for modern to work with the extensions?

1Password Version: 1.1511.80
Extension Version: 4.4.390
OS Version: Win 10

  • @afiedler at this moment universal windows app (that runs on tablets, desktops, phones and all other devices) can not connect to browser extensions, you will need to continue to use 1Password for Windows desktop for that.

We keep an eye on Edge browser extensibility, as soon as we get our chance to plug in it we will do it.

Ah, i see thanks for explaining. I don't see this app being used on Windows 10 desktop or laptop machines if it cannot utilize the browser extensions. The inter-connectivity is a major selling point for me and if it was not available I would switch to another app that had that capability.

  • 1Password Alpha is in development, integration with browsers and other apps are in the plans.
