I have forgotten my password. I wish to be able to reset my account so that I can start using this program again. I appreciate your help in this matter. Thank you.

@mvanally as your post relates to 1P3 for Mac I have moved the post from the 1Password for Mac forum to the 1P3 legacy forum where you will get more help.

(Sorry, but it's so long since I used 1Password 3 I can't remember how you start over with 1P3. Someone, though, will come along with some help for you.)

    Hi @mvanally,

The following should work for you

    1. Launch 1Password 3 for Mac and enter 1Password's preferences.
    2. Switch to the General tab.
    3. Right click on the text 1Password.agilekeychain and select the menu option Show in Finder from the menu that pops up.
    4. Keeping the Finder window open, quit 1Password 3 for Mac.
    5. Delete the 1Password.agilekeychain that is visible in the Finder window.
    6. Launch 1Password 3 for Mac.

When it can't find your original Agile Keychain it will behave as if it hasn't been run before and ask if you want to create a new vault or use an existing one. This should get you sorted.
