It was mentioned that that should be possible with the Beta version as a way to get data into the family account on Windows. Haven't figured out how?

Hey @dahanbn, to copy your items from the Beta to your Family vault first tap the select button located right next to the search bar:

Next you can select the specific items you'd like to copy by clicking on the checkbox, or clicking the select all button. Once you've selected all the items you'd like to copy, click the share button and select which vault you'd like to share it to.

Once the copy function starts correctly, you'll see this window

If there something failed to copy, we will keep that specific item(s) selected in the list and you can try to share to your vault once again.

Great! Let us know if there's anything else we can help with @dahanbn.

  • @dahanbn when item from legacy vault can not match types with Teams or Families it will not be copied and error flag will be displayed next to the item. As of today some really old item types dating back to 2008-2009 might not be fully supported, there is work in progress to make sure even old vaults can be used.

One notable exception is attachments. Windows 10 app do not see them yet in any folder based vaults and as a consequence it can not copy them to Teams or Families vaults.
