can i move a license from my old mac to my new mac?
Essentially removing the license on my old mac to use it on my new mac?

    @siemer - Yes, you can do that. Your license covers as many machines of the same platforms as you use yourself. You'll download a fresh copy on your new Mac. Then, if your license came from the AgileBits web store, be sure to install the license file. It it came from Apple, download it while logged in to the Mac App Store with the same Apple ID you used to buy your license.

    @siemer: Indeed, and keep in mind that since you (and 5 family members in your household) are entitled to use it on all of your Macs, you don't actually need to go to the trouble of "deactivating" or anything like that. Cheers! :)
