Hi

I have found uMatrix, from uBlock developer Gorhill. Its available for both Chrome and Firefox and it's a real challenge to use. I thought I would mention it as I am uncertain if it conflicts with 1Password.

It could be unfamiliarity with it, or I just can't get it to work properly.

@wkleem: Wow. You weren't kidding. That is pretty techy.

A good rule of thumb is that other software shouldn't conflict with the 1Password extensions unless they're interfering with localhost/127.0.0.1 connections used to communicate with 1Password mini/Helper. And often simply setting an exception will allow it to work as expected. :)

@brenty, This extension is even harder to use than NoScript which is for advanced users! Mind you, I've been a NoScript user for years.

  • I used to use NoScript, but the prevalance of JavaScript for essential functioning of most websites now has made it very cumbersome. I can definitely understand why folks use it, and I think it is a great tool if you have the patience to properly configure it.

    Hi

Reading further, there are some who actually use an Adblocker, uMatrix, and NoScript combo!

It can definitely be done, but I'm not quite that ambitious nowadays.
