schwab.com with latest beta in Safari in Lion

Hi,

Finally got the latest beta installed, and things seem to be working fine, except:

When I go to schwab.com, clicking the 1Password extension icon on the toolbar does nothing.

It works fine with other sites, but for some reason, it just has no response on schwab.com.

Any thoughts?

  • Hello JAW and welcome to the Forums!

I was unable to replicate your experience using 1P Version 3.6.1 (build 31057) and OS X 10.7 (Lion).

I saved a login using the following URL: https://client.schwab.com/Login/SignOn/CustomerCenterLogin.aspx?&kc=y

What versions of 1P and OS X are you running while experiencing this problem?

If you are trying a different URL, please try the one I listed. Regardless, let us know your current status.

    Cheers!

    Thanks, Brandt.

    I am using OS X 10.7 11A494a; 1P 3.6.1-BETA2 Build 31057 and the latest Safari plugin, 3.6.5-BETA2.

The behavior is happening at http://www.schwab.com/ itself. The login page you linked to doesn't appear to be working right now, but that might just be because they have shut down their system overnight. But the non-responsive 1P button is occurring on http://www.schwab.com/, the main home page. It works fine in Chrome and in Windows/Chrome.
  • Hey JAW,

    Thanks for the update.

In my first post, I forgot to mention that I was able to see the saved login when clicking the 1P icon while on http://www.schwab.com. I tried it again this morning, and it still worked for me.

So, I know there must be a resolution out there for you!

I noticed that you are using 1P 3.6.1-BETA2 and Safari add-on version 3.6.5-BETA2. I am using the latest stable 1P build: 3.6.1 and the latest Safari add-on: 3.6.5.BETA-23.

Would you please try updating to both newer versions and try again? It may not be necessary, but I usually uninstall my browser extensions/add-ons prior to updating to a newer version of 1P.

Please reply back with your results. We're getting closer...I can feel it!

    Chers!

    Brandt
