Cannot open 1password vault from Dropbox with unicode folder name on Windows desktop app (beta)

Created vault from import on my Mac, saved vault to Dropbox
Downloaded app on iPad, able to connect to vault on Dropbox
Installed app on Windows 10 (stable release 4), tried to open directory

select directory, got the following error message

Updated to Beta version, tried again. Same error.
Please fix/advise workaround

    @1passuserms: I'll admit that I'd never thought I'd see "Chinese" written in Chinese in association with 1Password. I'm sorry that you've encountered this issue!

    Unfortunately 1Password for Windows version 4 simply does not (and cannot) support Unicode filenames since it was developed to support legacy versions of Windows as well. In fact, it won't even let you create a vault with non-conforming characters anywhere in the path because then it wouldn't be able to load it.

    However, the good news is that our new app does not have this limitation:

    1Password for Windows 10 beta

    It isn't done yet, but it will bring that an a lot of other improvements. Cheers! :)

    It's as-if the screenshots were created intentionally for bug submission purpose :sarcastic:

    Good to know. I'll just fat-finger my passwords on the Windows 10 machine for now.
