Bug report: iOS app doesn't respect the setting "Prompt for Master Password After Device Restart"

I use TouchID for 1Password on my iPhone 6, and I have the app set to prompt for the master password only after device restarts. However, the app asks for my master password anyway after I haven't opened it for a few hours, with no device restarts.

I have checked and double checked that my settings are correct: under Settings > Advanced > Security > Require Master Password, my configuration is set to "After Device Restart".

I rely on TouchID for 1Password because when in a public place, I do not want to be seen typing my master password one character at a time. I'd be very grateful for this bug to be fixed.

Thank you.

  • Hi @dyx,

Thanks for taking the time to write in. Could you please try changing the Settings > Advanced > Security > Require Master Password to 1 Hour, and then change it back to After Device Restart?

Please let me know if that helps.

    Ben

Hi @bwoodruff, yes, I've tried that; the issue still comes up.
