    Hello Cloaky,

Definitely different. Never seen that before. :)

Were you able to reproduce this behavior, or was it a one-off experience? Out of curiosity, what version of OS X are you running?

You may be the winner of the "Odd Screen Shot of the Day" award.

Love to hear more about this one. ;)

    Hey Cloaky,

    Thanks for sharing this.

Could you please provide some additional information?

    • What version of Mac OS X are you running?
    • What version of 1Password are you running?
    • If you were not already using 1Password 3.6.1 at the time of the incident, are you able to reproduce the issue after updating to 3.6.1?
    • What steps can I take to reproduce the issue on my own machine?

Looking forward to your answers to those questions so we can figure out where the problem actually is. ;-)

    Cheers,

UPDATE: I was able to reproduce this in Mac OS X 10.7 with 1Password 3.6.1 by simply bringing up the "Add New Item" sheet (File > New Item > New Account) and then pressing ^⌘L to lock 1Password. It is just a UI glitch (not a security issue) since attempting to add an item after the lock results in an error since the data file really is locked. ;-)

I have passed this along to the developers for resolution in a future release.
