Will 1Password for Windows move away from HockeyApp? [No]

Hi there,

I just saw that there is a new 1Password for Windows version on the app updates page. https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPW6 with no changelog jet. So I wanted to ask if the new versions of 1Password for windows will use another updater?

    Hi @ntimo,

    No updater changes for the moment, we will change where the content of the changelog will be pulled from but the app updater itself will remain the same. The https://app-updates.agilebits.com site is just our changelog server that stores the content of our changelogs that our app-updaters on any platforms will pull from.

    Also, HockeyApp is used for crash submissions as well. We use HockeyApp's crash reporter for the Mac and iOS apps, even though they're updated by Apple.

    We have no plans to move away from our current updater at the moment.
