1Password 6 for Windows not working with browser extension?

in 1Password 4 for Windows

Using Firefox, the browser extension searches for the helper but doesn't find anything. The 1Password app opens, but that's it. Tried clicking the 'Register 1Password Helper' button, but nothing's going on? :/ It'd also be great if you could add a Sync/Refresh button for 1Password.com accounts :)

    @jxt, @opticalserenity: Sorry for the trouble! Just to confirm, are you both using the beta of 1Password 6? Common causes for this issue is something preventing 1Password from communicating with the browser extension. For example, "security" software and proxy settings are often the culprit. If you disable these temporarily, is 1Password able to connect? If so, when they're enabled the traffic is being rerouted or blocked completely. Setting an exception for 1Password itself and/or 127.0.0.1 / localhost should do the trick. Please let us know what you find!
