Does 1Password 6 beta work with chrome extension for browser autofill?

I'm not entirely sure if 1Password 6 beta for windows works with chrome extension for browser filling and shortcut keys. Can anyone confirm before I migrate to the new 1Password for individuals?

@tmchow the Beta 6 application for Windows can fill passwords in Chrome (and/or Firefox) as long as you have the Chrome extension installed as well (just like with 1Pasword 4--same browser extension). It won't save new passwords (like detect when you log in and offer to save), and it doesn't fill other information like addresses and credit cards yet, but I'm using it for logins just fine. I logged into these forums to post this reply with it :-) It's definitely early-stage software but it's done enough for me to use daily, and it'll be significantly better in 2-6 months I'm guessing. The shortcut keys work as well.

  • What @dszp said :)

Filling works using the extension button and the keyboard shortcut.
Make sure that 1Password 6 is running and unlocked.
