Previously, it was a known issue that In App Purchases cannot be shared among different user IDs. Has this issue been sorted out yet? I thought I would as since it is now iOS 10....

@wkleem: As far as I know, this hasn't changed: in-app purchases are not eligible for Family Sharing.

I don't think this is a software issue so much as policy. It's confusing because I think Family Sharing was originally introduced around the time of the iOS 7 (or maybe 8) launch. Obviously the OS needs to support it, but preliminary documentation indicated that in-app purchases would be eligible...though that turned out not to be the case when things were finalized.

I get that "consumable" in-app purchases (currency in games, for example) wouldn't be something that they'd want to have shared, but perhaps certain "classes" of in-app purchases could be supported in the future. Given that Apple changes their mind, it's conceivable that they may change it back. But I'm not holding my breath.
