can you please put a notice on your update web site warning apple customers to update from the apple app and NOT from the agile web site as the app will not behave probably. "Apple customers must update from the app store"

    Thanks for contacting us about that!

    This isn't specific to 1Password: All apps that are downloaded from the Mac App Store are also updated through the Mac App Store. If you use the AgileBits Store version of 1Password (i.e. the one from our website), updates are done through the app itself. We explain how to update 1Password here: How to keep 1Password up to date

    Many apps that are sold on the Mac App Store are also available from the developers' websites. The copies available from those websites will always be at least a little different than their counterparts in the Mac App Store (this is due to the way the Mac App Store works). However, if you purchased 1Password from the Mac App Store and would like to switch to the AgileBits Store version, you can definitely do that, and we explain how in this support article: How to switch to the version of 1Password from the AgileBits website
