Master password accepted on iMac and iPad but not the iPhone

My father is having an issue where his master password works on his iMac and iPad but not on the iPhone. He did change the master password at some point on the iMac and from what I have read on here this has caused issues as it does not always flow through to the other devices. We did uninstall the app on the iPhone and reinstall but putting in the new password does not work and he does not remember what the old one was. If he changes the master password again using the iMac will that cause it to flow through properly to the other devices?

    Hi @kzwack,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty with the Master Password here.

    What I would recommend is disabling sync on the Mac:
    Open and unlock 1Password, then choose 1Password > Preferences. Click the Sync icon, select your Primary vault, and set "Sync Primary vault with" to None.

    And then delete the sync data from iCloud (from the Mac):
    In 1Password, choose Help > Troubleshooting > Reset iCloud Data.

    Then re-enable syncing on all devices:

    Sync your 1Password data
