Can I directly open 1 of my 2 vaults in 1Password v4.6.1.167 for Win w/o logging into last

I am using 1Password v4.6.1.167 for Windows and have two vaults. One for personal and one for business. Is there a way that I can directly open one of my two vaults without having to log into the last vault opened and then switch vaults? Alternately, is there a way to show all records of both vaults in one view like it shows when I use the iOS app?

    Hi @CTYJIM,

    Thanks for writing in.

That is not possible with 1Password 4 for Windows, you have to provide the vault's password to decrypt the content in it and 1Password 4 destroys the vault's key in memory as soon as you enter it (for security reason), so it can't switch back to another vault later. 1Password 4 is a single document type of program, only reads/writes to a single vault file at a time.

However, like 1Password 6 on your iOS device, this is possible with the 1Password 6 for Windows program, we use an internal database structure to store all of your vaults and re-encrypt their specific vault keys with the main master password, so you can switch between all vaults you want or view All Vaults to see all contents at once and without having to unlock each one.

For now, 1Password 6 requires a 1Password.com membership and does not fully support standalone local vaults yet. If you want to try the membership, we do offer a one month trial at https://1Password.com and you can find 1Password 6 for downloads here: https://1Password.com/downloads/
