Could you please share or point me to the MD5 Checksum of latest upgrade 1Password?
I would like to verify the upgrade since it asks to manually install it.

Hi @Arun H
I've moved your post to our Mac forum. :)
I believe this post may be of some help:
Shouldn't the 1Password app download and updates come with a hash and signing keys for verification? — AgileBits Support Forum
Please let me know if we can be of further assistance.

Thanks for the link to the other thread. I've been holding off on updating. I will do so now with confidence.

@Arun H : Verifying md5sums of the downloads isn't the best way to be confident in this case. We only use md5sums as a simple sanity check on downloads for the updater. The better approach is to verify the codesignature of the downloaded resource. Our pkg and unzipped app files will have codesignatures signed with certs that you can identify as being us from your end.

Do you publish SHA1 or MD5 hashes for your downloads? I'd love to be able to confirm that the bits that have arrived on my computer are the ones you created....

Hi @callmeike,
Sorry it took a bit longer for us to reply! I hope you don't mind, but I've merged your post with another recent, related thread.
Brenty's information in the link from Ben's earlier response should help to answer your questions: Shouldn't the 1Password app download and updates come with a hash and signing keys for verification?
The answer from Rick in this other recent discussion might also be helpful: How do you check your update integrity?
Finally, you might be interested in this tip from sjk: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/314085/#Comment_314085
Hopefully this helps, but please let us know if you have more questions about that. Cheers! :)
