    Hey @Durango_mark,

Sorry for the troubles here. Since this looks very much like a .NET Framework error, let's check if you have the right version installed.
Please download version 4.6.2 of the .NET Framework and run the installer.

Once this is done, please reboot and check if 1Password 6 runs stable.

    Cheers,

    Alex

    Thanks Alex...

I looked in the registry to see what version is installed and it's already at 4.6.2. Also tried to run the installer you sent and it says I'm already at 4.6.2.

However, there is .NET 4.7 available as the beginning of May. I installed .NET 4.7 and that resolved the issue for my scenario. I can now run 1Password again. I can see there were several patches that were applied to my system over this past weekend and after that is when 1Password ceased to work. Thanks Microsoft!

Anyway, thanks for pointing me to .NET as the culprit as I was able to resolve with an upgrade to 4.7 of .NET.

  • That's good information, thank you for that @Durango_mark!
